Your Vote! Your Choice!

On November 8th, we once again get to act on our right to vote in the General Election (though early voting has already begun). In a divisive political climate, as we see exertions of power that have impeded the well-being and safety of millions, this is not an opportunity we take lightly. The overturn Roe v. Wade has sparked a potential domino effect that can be stopped in this election cycle.
The rights, freedoms, and accessibility to a quality life for women, people of color, LGBTQIA+ folk, and low-income households are on the line.

Every election cycle, many will hyperbolically state that the current cycle is the most important to have ever occurred and holds the weight of the future of our democracy. For this cycle, that is not hyperbole; it is a fact.
On January 6th, 2021, the US Capitol faced an unprecedented attack from an extremist mob that sought to prevent Congress from fulfilling its duty to count the electoral college votes. This horrific event undermined the due process that has peacefully been carried out for nearly two and half centuries. No longer do we have the guarantee of safety and peace in a transfer of power. We cannot let this happen again.

We must vote for those who will uphold and preserve our democratic process.
We must vote for those who do not stoke fear and conspiracy theories to maintain power.
We must vote for those who stand for the freedom of ALL PEOPLE, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, income status, or religion.
