DEIRDRE WILLIS
Deirdre is a Chicago native who received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Loyola University in Chicago, while majoring in criminal justice. Deirdre has ten years of experience in the legal field focusing in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice, divorce and real estate. Deirdre began working for the Deratany Firm in 2002. During the course of her employment she has provided exceptional paralegal work on many major medical malpractice cases. As a Chicago native, Deirdre has volunteered with several political organizations emphasizing the importance of voting. Deirdre is a member of the of the American Association for Justice Organization. Although Deirdre has worked in several areas of the law and has solid experience, Deirdre is very optimistic to new challenges that the legal field presents.
PATRICK DEGNAN
Patrick is originally from Pittsburgh, PA. He graduated from Miami University in 2006 with a B.A. in English Literature. After graduating from Miami, he gained experience at other personal injury firms in Chicago. Patrick then began law school at The John Marshall Law School in January of 2007. In the summer of 2008 he served as a judicial extern for Chief Judge James G. Carr of the Northern District of Ohio. After concluding his externship, he clerked for other firms in Chicago, where he concentrated primarily on the fields of personal injury and workers compensation. Patrick recently began clerking for the Deratany Firm. He is pleased to be face the many exciting challenges that will be presented to him as he begins work with this firm. After graduating from law school he hopes to remain in Chicago and continue to focus on the areas of personal injury and medical malpractice.
